The “Law of Retaliation” is derived from the Old Testament Lev 24:19 and Quran 2:178 which became part of the Code of Hammurabi and Sharia Law (Sharia means Revealed). The punishment designed to fit the crime in Lev 24 is Blasphemy of God.
